PROSTITUTION BY PERSONAL CHOICE
By Synthia Esther
Proverbs 6:26, For the prostitute reduces you to a loaf of bread, and the adulteress preys upon your very life.
Proverbs 23:27, For a prostitute is a deep pit and a wayward wife is a narrow well.
Most people who choose to prostitute their body do so for money. The Bible relates to the prostitute in animal terms. Jeremiah 13:27, describes the city of Jerusalem's unfaithfulness to God and is conveyed as the willingness of a prostitute to take in any man, comparing her to horses loudly neighing their desire to mate in the fields. Jeremiah 5:7-8, describes men who go to the houses of prostitution as lusty stallions. Ezekiel 23:1-48, speaks of the nation of Israel being compared to a woman lusting after young men and having sex with them in the Verse 35, therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: “Since you have forgotten me and thrust me behind your back, you must bear the consequences of your lewdness and prostitution.” 1 Corinthians 6:13-20...The body is not meant for sexual immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body. (14) By His power God raised the Lord from the dead, and He will raise us also. (15) Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ himself? Shall I then take the members of Christ and unite them with a prostitute? Never! (16) Do you not know that he who unites himself with a prostitute is one with her body? For it is said, “The two will become one flesh.” (17) But he who unites himself with the Lord is one with Him in spirit. (18) Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a man commits are outside his body, but he who sins sexually sins against his own body. (19) Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; (20) you were bought at a price. Therefore, honor God with your body. Hosea 2:13, “I will punish her for the days she burned incense to the Baals; she decked herself with rings and jewelry, and went after her lovers, but Me she forgot, declares the Lord.” Luke 17:1, Jesus said to His disciples: “Things that cause people to sin are bound to come, but woe to that person through whom they come.”
SEXUAL SURROGATES: EXPERT ELIST PROSTITUTES
Masters and Johnson first introduced the practice of hands on therapy (no pun intended), in 1970, with their work on “Human Sexual Inadequacy”. The non-profit International Professional Surrogate Association (IPSA), remains the organization most involved with surrogate partner therapy, primarily training new surrogates (most of which are female), and educating the public and professionals about its potential benefits (Vaughn 2004). A “Sexual Surrogate” is best defined as a sexual partner who plays an active role in a three way therapeutic team consisting of a therapist, client, and a surrogate.
Who would need a sexual surrogate? Clients (most of which are male), who have general social anxiety, specific sexual dysfunctions such as impotence, pre-mature ejaculation, and/or disabilities. Many serial killers, sex and pornography addicts have sexual dysfunctions, social anxiety and/or personality disorders, so I guess that would include them too. How much does it cost? According to the IPSA website fees vary depending on experience and geographical location. Typically, surrogates fees are similar to the average hourly therapists.
Ray J. Noonan in 1984, wrote about sexual surrogates in his master's thesis which continues to remain a definitive study in surrogate therapy and research. According to Noonan, surrogates spend less than 13 percent of their session time actually engaging in sexual activities with their clients. Where as 34 percent of their time is spent on talking, providing sex information and emotional support in helping the client overcome inhibitions and sexual dysfunction.
A former prostitute I have personally interviewed stated she would talk to her regular clients about their problems during the week, then give them a relaxing back message that would take up another 30 minutes of the hour scheduled client time before ever engaging in sexual activity. Perhaps she should call herself a sexual surrogate, and up her price due to her vast experience. Working for a therapist instead of a pimp is an excellent way to avoid the messy details of ever being arrested for prostitution.
Jeremiah 3:3, ... “Yet you have the brazen look of a prostitute; you refuse to blush with shame.” Hosea 5:4, “Their deeds do not permit them to return to their God. A spirit of prostitution is in their heart; they do not acknowledge the Lord.” Proverbs 30:20, “This is the way of an adulteress: She eats and wipes her mouth and says, 'I've done nothing wrong.'” No matter the label you title your sin God holds each and every one of us accountable. A person reaps what they sow.
